DOMESTICA is one of the founding members of SEAME (Panhellenic Association of Catering Equipment Companies). Today we hold a leading position in the Greek market in the equipment of fast food shops, ice cream shops, bakeries, bakeries, hotels, restaurants, etc.

2022

DOMESTICA expands further, opening a branch in Heraklion, Crete. The branch features a modern industrial-style space in the industrial area of Heraklion that includes offices, service departments and a contemporary showroom with a live demo kitchen.

2016

The company relocates from Athens city center to Metamorfosi, to a facility that now houses offices, service department, storage, an experimental kitchen, and showroom.

1994

DOMESTICA undertakes and completes a landmark project—the catering department of the Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki, a truly large-scale project offering comprehensive solutions.

90s

The ice cream and pastry categories expand, becoming strategic segments for DOMESTICA that remain so to this day. Collaboration begins with MARENO, which continues to be a key supplier for horizontal kitchen solutions.

1985

DOMESTICA innovates by introducing the RATIONAL brand to the Greek market for the first time—the global leading brand in combi steamer ovens.

1980

DOMESTICA expands its activities by importing professional laundry machines to meet the needs of its key clients. During this period, with the emergence of fast-food chains in the Greek market, DOMESTICA undertakes the exclusive representation of several American companies offering high-tech equipment.

1972-1973

Exclusive collaboration begins with two of the company’s most important brands to this day, HOBART and CARPIGIANI.

1961

At the end of the 1950s, Nikolaos Nikolaidis arrived in Greece from Constantinople and in 1961 founded DOMESTICA, initially as a company importing household electrical appliances.​By the mid-1960s, foreseeing the boom in Greek tourism, the company began specializing exclusively in importing professional equipment for the foodservice industry.
